You may need to copy and paste his page. I believe John Grogran is over PEOA. I don't know what everyone elses experience is with PEOA but I have had contact with them two times. The first time, they wanted to give me a referral in Utah for $95.00 (greedy folks over there) On another occassion while trying to solicit my membership there was an email that said '30 theft exams needed' (this was quite some time ago so I may be off slightly on the number of exams but it was huge number of exams) - 30 eppa exams sounds CRAZY! When I emailed PEOA to ask/confront them, they told me someone else had accepted the referral but wouldn't acknowledge who.... Anyway, I just thought you all should check it out because there are comments in the web site that are derogatory of several organizations and examiners (PEOA xxx's the names) that have tried to benefit the polgyraph profession. John Grogan founded POEA after he was not permitted to join either APA or CAPE, since he didn't meet the membership requirement of having attended polygraph school (no kidding).Immediately after founding PEOA, he elected himself President. Lou ------------------

Holy cow! I once made fun of Ted Todd being dressed like he just cleaned out his garage----only to see the actual photo which I dumbly thought was Todd but was actually a pic of John Grogan. Sorry Ted, it was actually John who took a poor photo for his website. IP: Logged |

He's an aggressive marketer though.He was at one time the spotlight examiner on this site. I didn't jump on the photoshop improvement at that time. Do Ralph or any of our moderators know if he still visits this forum? r ------------------

So to be clear, John Grogan's feature photo (not Ted's)looks like it was taken just after he cleaned out his garage. My car insurance broker's pic looks more regal. Hey Guys,I will be writing a full length story soon for the newsletter. Suffice it to say that he is an exceptional marketer, albeit deceptive in how he handles that. I have proof that he is BAD NEWS. At one time, he acted like my best friend and I defended his right to advertise, etc. for quite a while even though it caused me regular grief and even a few accounts. I don't like to bully or be bullied so I took a middle stance. But finally proof came to light (something I could finally act on rather than just gossip)and I pulled all his advertising from the site and also removed his privileges here. Stay tuned for the whole story, but for now if John Grogan comes near you, run for the hills. Donna, would you mind sending me the sample email you received. He does not send those to me because he knows I would expose them. You are the second person who told me about that email claiming massive numbers of tests needed right away. I'm convinced that is all a ruse to get examiners interested. ------------------

StatI have a confession. A few years ago, Ralph took my photo at Hilton Head and posted it on his web site. Maschke hacked it and put it on his site for a while and slapped me around. In that photo, I did look like a Dork who had just cleaned out my garage. I am now very well groomed in the hair dept.(# 0 comb on the sides and # 3 on top).
I have no "loaves". When I retire, I plan to let my hair grow and then have Dan sculpt Mount Rushmore into my hair. Ted IP: Logged |

One has only to read his website/s to know that he has the ethics of an alley-cat.He's using the same old auto-mechanic referral scheme. How do you find a good mechanic when you need one? Ask him. All his mechanics are certified and pre-screened. Problem is that a lot of people buy hype. I'd ditch his email list, but then I couldn't watch him as easily. r

want to know one way to squelch him?ASTM standard or APA policies on fidelity tests. They are the majority of his email referrals. I've long suspected that some of his email referrals are phony hooks to keep people's attention. r ------------------

Ralph, I will check to see if I still have the email and if so I will forward it to you. Most likely I deleted it becuase I thought they were hacks!Chaz - employee theft questions depend on the employee. Stat listed some great questions. Some others would be: (depending on the employees back ground...B4 working @ ..., DYE even once consider taking something from an employer (set him up that even a paper clip counts and when they admit to taking a pen - just make sure you get a bit annoyed and say 'there isn't anything else IS THERE?') ....DYE lie to cover up a mistake? if they are young....Between the ages of - or - B4 the age of ...., DYE take something that didn't belong to you? Corporate espionage is the most fun of all types of tests, and within the US borders we here are severely limited from those types of tests. To do them we have to leave the country "for a vacation." Of course the most common type of corp secret violation is "pillow talk" to spouses and lovers of corp guarded secrets and strategic planning, as well as Executive Fishing-----secret job searches by Corp officers.
